All Secondary 1 members please note that D&T Club activities are only meant for members. It was observed that a few secondary 1 members had been bringing non-members to club activities. Please note that this practice is strictly not allowed. Those who are caught again is liable to be dismissed from the club.

Once again we are back on this stage- Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors' Award Competition Prize Presentation. I am proud that we manage to win the School Award (2nd Placing). Though the $2000 has been donated to the school, the fact that we have done well is good enough. Congrats to those prize winners and for those who didnt win or came close.. lets try again next year!

There will be no D&T Club Activities for these 2 weeks (20/5 & 21/5 and 27/5 & 28/5) as members are involved in either the TKKYIA Exhibtion and/or Inventors' Week Workshop. Club Activities will only resume in Week 1 of Semester 2.

When: Report by 815am in D&T Workshop (815am- 1pm)
Attire: School Uniform
How: 40 seater luxury bus catered for 2-way trip

27 May 09
What: Creativity Workshop organized by Science Centre
Who: All Sec 2 members (If your friends wan pon school, get him/ her to join in)
When: Report to Concourse area by 815am for attendance taking (830am- 1pm)
Attire: School Uniform
How: 40 seater luxury bus (2-way trip)

Results for Ideas-in-action is out! Congratulations to Paul and Hong Yu for being selected on their invention: Purse-2-Bag!

The two boys should be very proud of themselves as they are among the 140 teams selected out of a total of 540 shortlisted teams. Their invention will be given a funding of $200 and they are to use this cash to develop their idea further and better. Congratulations once again! =)
